Our Out of Hours Team got a call at 10:22 today reporting a water leak within their apartment. The engineer explained they needed to isolate the incoming water main to stop the leak.
The tenant was unaware what to do / where to locate it, so the engineer contacted the tenant via FaceTime and assisted in locating and getting the water isolated in just a few mintues after the initial call. Engineer had resolved issue and emailed details to office within 5 minutes!
Quick actions of NRM OOH Team and their knowledge of the sites we manage, resulted in major flood being adverted in block of flats which would have affected number of other properties (and the associated damage, cost and inconvieance to all).
